By bookings made direct to the hotel or via a third party. 

GENERAL

At the Sound reserves the right to refuse service and cancel any reservation that does not meet the following terms and conditions

You must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation. To stay At the Sound, a person under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, A valid credit card and photo ID will be required on arrival if requested.

If a valid credit card is not presented a cash bond of up to $400 is required.

CANCELLATION

Bookings may be cancelled up to 2.00pm (local time) 7 days prior to arrival with no penalty.

After that time the total value of the accommodation stay may be charged to the credit card on file. The same will be charged for persons who do not check-in on the date of their booking (no-shows)

CANCELLATIONS FOR DISCOUNTED AND PROMOTIONAL RATES

Advance purchase and other specials are non-refundable or transferable to another date. They may be charged in full at the time of booking. 

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Check-in time is 2.00 pm.

Check-out time is 10.00 am.

Changes to check-in or check-out times can be arranged in advance directly with the hotel, changes are subject to availability and may incur a fee.

AT CHECK-IN

A valid credit card and photo ID will be required on arrival.

If a valid credit card is not presented a cash bond of up to $400 is required

Payment by third party credit cards (Charge Back) may be arranged in advance by contacting the hotel directly.

RATES AND CHARGES

Full payment for your stay will be charged 7 days prior to arrival unless stated otherwise.

Visa, MasterCard, American Express all incur a surcharge of 1.43% for each transaction. All prices are quoted in Australian dollars, per room, per night and includes GST.

CHILDREN

At the Sound considers children to be from 2 and 16 years. 0-2 Years can stay at no additional charge if they are in their own cot. Using existing bedding and Portable cots are an additional charge and are subject to availability, Portable cots only be used in certain room types.

ADDITIONAL BEDS

Sofa beds and single beds are available at an additional charge in some rooms and are subject to availability, please contact the hotel directly to make sure these are available before booking for 3 or more guests. 

GUESTS LIABILITY

All guests will be liable for any loss or damage to their accommodation room and its contents, including that done by a pet. 

House rules and quiet hours must be observed or the guest may be liable for compensation to other guests affected, including noise relating to a pet. 

All guests agree to pay the rate quoted for the entire stay and any additional charges that are billed to the room before, during or after the stay.

All hotels in Australia are non-smoking. Any guest smoking in their room may be asked to leave the hotel and will incur a charge of $400 for having the room off-line for cleaning and deodorising.

BEST RATE GUARANTEED

At the Sound guarantee all guests will get the Best Available Rate when they book direct with the hotels either by phone, email or on the hotel’s own web sites. The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to unpublished rates or advance purchase offers. The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply if the lower rate is achieved via a membership, credit or currency conversion and when comparing rates both rates must have tax included or tax excluded to ensure a fair comparison.
